A few GLP members and ex members were at the Pine Street Paddle. Yours truly decided to surf in the waves of a loaded freighter that had spilled another paddler recently. All the safety lessons I’ve learned as part of GLP were reinforced. As they say, we’re all just between swims.
We had a nice group of 8 paddlers today for our Paddle to Hell. The Sun was out, the temp was in the 60s. We knew there would be some wind on the way back. We have had worse. It actually changed directions on us occasionally.
